How to handle period pain

  • Add about 3 inches crushed ginger, 1 litre hot water, some honey (optional), 1 tsp tea leaves (optional). Bring water to boil add ginger, simmer add tea, brew, strain, add honey. Let it cool and sip https://www.period.media/spotlight/how-drinking-ginger-can-help-against-menstrual-cramps/

  • Moringa can significantly reduce menstrual cramps: Try Moringa a few days before and during your period. https://www.moringaharvest.co.uk/pages/menstrual-pains

  • Laying down with a hot water bottle on your lower tummy or lower back can help

  • Some gentle form of exercise (like a walk) can get your circulation going and make you feel happier

  • Relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, meditation and visualization. We highly recommend Peta Stapleton Tapping techniques. See Dr Peta Stapleton link below.
